I’m not seeing a lot of connection between Lincoln and Aubrey. It seemed like Aubrey was more concerned about the “family” aspect of Lincoln’s existence. She also seemed more concerned about her confidence because of what she found out about her dad. Her real (biological) father.

With Lincoln, I still can’t understand his character. 

Like he seems like a good guy, but with a sad past. (Kinda like all the other male characters I’ve read about by Penelope Douglas).

It just seems all too similar.
