The first half was a 3*, the second half a 5*, balancing out at 4*.
I didn't find the characters particularly likeable, but I was definitely invested in their success and shared in their heartache. I feel sorry for books that have this much hype, as I always find they can never live up to the expectation, but I'm glad I read this.
