Just feels a little too contrived and hollow. Was this once a fanfic? Because it feels like a converted fanfic where they didn't go back and add the depth that would've been borrowed through familiarity with the original work. I tried reading this 3 times and then realized I'm not really interested even if it does get better
The world is so strange. Are vampires publicly known? If so then why is there no regulation and support system for them, like that's both for public safety and industry reasons. The only way they can get blood is a black market dealer or to steal it? Everyone seems to know about vampires and be pretty chill about their existence despite knowing they are forced to mug people for blood??
The whole pharmaceutical plot doesn't make sense either ...
