Italian Folk Magic: Rue's Kitchen Witchery by Mary-Grace Fahrun

5.0

Book: Italian Folk Magic: Rue's Kitchen Witchery
Author: Mary-Grace Fahrun
Rating: 5/5

I have read this book many times and still find myself reaching for it. At this point, I view IFM as more of a reference book. Mary-Grace writes her tales in such a way that you feel like family, sitting at the table and chatting with Aunts and Uncles while learning about the malochio. Since I recently moved to Naples, Italy, I wanted to learn more about their version of magic and superstitions. This was an excellent find. The authors family was based in the southern regions of Italy and I find myself stumbling across many of the items and locations that she references. I would highly recommend this book for anyone with Italian background or just anyone who has an interest in other cultures and magic categories.
