So, I heard good things about this book and series, so I was looking forward to it. I like stories that have duel perspectives, especially in dark romances, so that was nice.
The plot was pretty standard and I only saw one of the twists coming, and the relationship was enjoyable to watch unfold. Alex is a little too much of an asshole for me to really love his character, but Ava was fantastic. Love her character.
It didn’t blow me away and isn’t anything absolutely special, but if you like dark romances with a morally grey love interest with a healthy dash of smut, then you’ll really enjoy this.
