The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

4.0

Look, friends, I must tell you to read this. The story isn't going anywhere, it is really just a biography of our hero, but still it is filled with everything you could ever want. Mostly, the writing makes up for any lingering sense of 'Not enough HAPPENING' because it is just THAT beautiful. It is LONG and yet I would recommend this even to friends who loathe reading.

I am writing this half a year after first having read it so I did forget a lot of things or mixed them up with content of the second book - but I DO remember it being absolutely mesmerizing and sucking you into the world of Kvothe.
