What an emotional knockout!
This series is a great one. I like the idea of them all being stand alone but having a central theme group them together. Even though again they are separate from each other I feel that you, the reader, should still go in order to enjoy how the writing just continues to get better each time.
Now on to the review of the actual book..
This book had me engrossed the entire time. I was a bit skeptical at first during part one because unless it is just for background purposes I do not like an overextended children's story. Fear not each part is exactly the right amount of everything!
I had tears coming down my face one moment.
Then the next a curse word was flying out because I was frustrated as if I were one of the characters myself.
However the love between these two is something entirely in its own league.
-“Maggie May,” Brooks whispered, his voice cracking. “How did you do that? How did you break my heart and fix it all at once, with just one kiss?”
And with that I leave you read this book yourself and enjoy all the emotions it provokes out of you.
