Bambi: A Life in the Woods by Felix Salten
3.0
I really enjoyed reading the origins of Bambi although it is inherently a lot darker that’s what made me pick up this book as I had heard from reviews.
It was a really beautiful yet harsh book that described Bambi’s struggles in the wilderness. Was nice to see a more true side to life then Walt Disney’s version.
I really recommend this to anyone! I only didn’t give it 5 stars because occasionally there wasn’t much going on in the book but I still really enjoyed it!
Also Faline and Bambi are cousins (like Nala and Simba) and Faline’s brother was cut out of the Bambi movie
