"Recently graduated at twenty-six, and two months behind on rent, Oliver Barnes is desperate. So desperate, in fact, that he applies for a job in the Greed district of Hell’s Pentagram. But when he misses his train and, subsequently, his job interview, he stumbles, instead, upon a strange little coffee shop in the middle of Purgatory’s barren desert—and into an unexpected opportunity."
MM low angst, happy ever after, romance. Written by a non binary author.
This book made me laugh! It was funny & joyful. The book whisked me easily into its world. Oliver is adorkable. It takes a while before he meets his love interest. Their story takes time to unfold, but is never slow.
His coworkers are interesting and diverse. I am a sucker for found family, and they were all lovable. You get glimpses of their stories. There is depth there and I can't wait to read more!
This book isn't for you if you dislike paranormal dick(s) and spice.
