While the pacing was much slower in this book than in the last, I kind of expected that for a middle book. 

This book is focused on a quest to find an ancient artifact and we finally get some background on Lor's family.

This book had more spicy scenes than I expected but MY GOODNESS IT'S STILL A SLOW BURN. But the angst and how neither of them sees the obvious...but I digress. LOL.  

Anyway, I'm invested now. Getting ready to start the third book in between cooking Thanksgiving Dinner. Will Report Back.
