All the Love You Deserve by Preeti Shenoy, Preeti Shenoy
5.0
Preeti Shenoy is an author whom I feel that everyone can read anytime. And this newly published book is not an exception.
All The Love You Deserve by Preeti Shenoy is the story of Puja, Arush, and Sujit. Puja and Arush are in a long-distance relationship. They are finding ways to make this work but there are complications, and the pandemic is making things more complicated. Meanwhile, Sujit is trapped in the troubled past which is linked with Puja. What will happen when the three of them try to make their lives work having a deep impact on each other? Read the book to know more.
This book is the sequel of When Love Came Calling but this book can be read as standalone as well, like I did. However, after reading this, I want to read the former as well.
The book beautifully depicts that finding passion, love, and happiness is a journey, an ever-changing dynamic process that evolves with time for each one of us. And how it comes at different times for different people. All three main protagonists have their journeys, struggles, and ways of dealing with them, which are real and relatable.
Each character's relationship with the other, their parents, siblings, and people around them evokes so many emotions. If this story and the people there can say one thing, it would be— To make mistakes, and fall apart, but do not give up and keep trying. And that's all I can say about them.
Dr. Harsh is a character that everyone wants in their life. Every moment when he comes into the story makes it a memorable one. The theme of mental health is represented very well and carves a way for the readers to be more human!
I loved the characters of Divya and Vihan as well. They have such an interesting story and I would love to see more of them. Dear author, can we please expect a book on their story soon?
The ending of the book is the most beautiful thing that can happen. I loved the way the author kept the story so real, grounded, and relatable, making the reader feel a personal connection with the characters. The problems of the pandemic and the situations that people go through were very well depicted and I am glad that the author included that.
This book came to me when I was not able to read any book and was struggling to find a read that could make me flip the pages. And this book did exactly that. I finished reading it in a day, which could have been in a sitting if not for academics. And I loved reading this.
Puja, Sujit, and Arush's characters are written in such a way, that they are going to be with me for a long time. And so is their journey. If I start to tell you more about them or their story, I know I wouldn't be able to stop without giving spoilers, so I am leaving it to you to read it and see for yourself why I love them so much. It's a 5/5 for me.
