Hidden Mate by Jen L. Grey

Couldn’t put it down!

Some books just have that IT factor. This is one of them. I was so wrapped up in this story that I hardly functioned while I was reading it! Here’s a quick re-cap and my full two cents.

Quick Re-cap:

Sadie is a female Alpha heir who’s father thinks is worthless and only the most powerful are worthy of his time. She convinces her father to allow her to go to college to meet a male Alpha heir to mate with. While at college, she meets some new friends; a dragon shifter, two vampires, and her fated mate.

Sadie finds out there’s a vampire killing humans in the area. Sadie and her friends try to locate the vampire in order to save other humans, but become the vampire’s new target.

My Two Cents:

This is a great first book in the series. We learn that Sadie is more than just an Alpha heir, but we aren’t quite sure what that is and neither is she. Her new powers save her life a few times though!

There are a few grammar/editing issues in this book, but it’s not enough to annoy you to the point you won’t want to read it.

There is a sex scene and some steamy intimate scenes. They were well done and might have you reaching for relief, but they might not. It depends on you
