Did not finish book.

I couldn't do it. I got about halfway and it was depressing the hell out of me, and when I got to the guy who stubbed out cigarettes on a one-year-old's arm I had to nope the hell outta there. sorrynotsorry.
It was really engaging and well written though, which is part of why it was so viscerally affecting. I just couldn't handle it.
