So I really enjoyed this book overall! I would say why this isn’t a 4 or 5 star book though. I feel like some of book had a bunch of waiting time like filler I would say which I didn’t mind until a certain point. Also the main character and love interest were fighting for most of the book over the same things and I know it was addressed in the book that they knew they were fighting about the same things but as a reader it was pretty frustrating to read the same scenes over and over again. But what I loved/liked about the book what the plot and the dragons and the friends and the intricacies of the magic and war and all of that jazz. I will state that I don’t think this is a bad book I loved parts of it that’s why I rated it higher that 3.5 but I just feel like for how big the book is the pacing needed to be better that’s all. But I did have very many le gasp moments so I think it is worth while to read this series. Can’t wait to see what the next book brings to the table :)
