This book is a little hit-or-miss for me. Uncharacteristically, Ephron’s writing sometimes feels a little impersonal in this book. There are some parts that read very whiny and privileged, and not in a fun way, like it usually is.
Still, the book is lighthearted and fun. It is great writing, obviously, just not my favorite of her work.
I love the ending. I think it is very strong and incredibly touching. Changed my opinion of this book.
