Last Dance with Mary Jane by John Goode

4.0

John Goode is awesome! This story was short, sweet, an eye-opener and just plain amazing, even though it’s not a HEA story.
I’d read all of John Goode’s published books till date except this one. I contemplated reading it but then I saw the warning: “This title is a love story that does not contain a HEA” so I pushed it down on my TBR pile. And that was my biggest mistake. This story, albeit a sad romance, was still a really good one. Even in the midst of all the sorrow and pain Goode still managed to add some humor to the story and, as is his trademark, give the readers a lesson or an idea to think about.
Last Dance With Mary Jane is a short but a lovely story about what it means to let go and tell the people we love the things that we want to say in time.
I absolutely adored this book. This is the reason why John Goode’s one of my favorite authors. His books never disappoint.

Highly Recommended!
