This is a horror story that is two-fold; both a tale of superstitions, and one of family legacies. The main character is instantly relatable, and her character is cemented very early on, which makes her story quite bittersweet as the book progresses. I found all the characters enjoyable to read, for various different reasons, and the story really intriguing and compelling. The narrator also really suited the story, and lent an authentic feel to the audiobook. Very enjoyable tale!
