She Was the Quiet One by Michele Campbell
2.0
I really enjoyed the suspense of It's Always the Husband and was hoping for the same experience here, but was let down. I feel like the victim/perpetrator are obvious from pretty close to the beginning, and so I was just waiting for the events to unfold. This felt predictable, and knowing that Campbell is capable of writing a truly twisty whodunit made this a sad experience for me.
