Ghost Wood Song by Erica Waters

5.0

What a great, great book. It's about bluegrass and music and tricky relationships, yes, but most of all it's about the ties that bind us to our family. It's about forgiving those around you... and also learning the importance of forgiving yourself.

It's also a lot of fun. GHOSTS! Bluegrass! (Everything I know about bluegrass, I learned from this book. That might be odd since I've lived in the Bluegrass State for nearly 20 years now.)

It also has WASPS. Oh my gosh, the wasps.

If you've read the book's description and you're at all on the fence about reading it, do yourself a favor and give it a shot. This isn't my typical read by any stretch but it was absolutely fantastic. I am so excited about Waters' upcoming novel "[b:The River Has Teeth|54426630|The River Has Teeth|Erica Waters|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1602075767l/54426630._SY75_.jpg|84934817]".
