Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn

5.0

After my reread, I'm still loving this book and all of the characters in it. I don't normally write full reviews but I feel like I need to convince more people to read this. So here goes -

Georgie feels lost now that she's suddenly lost her PA job and she's trying to "find herself." She's got the privilege to be able to go back to her hometown, live at home, and help her best friend through the last part of her pregnancy. Even so, she's always felt like she didn't fit in there.

She finds herself in a roommate situation since her spacey (but oh so kind and caring) parents also allowed Levi Fanning to stay at their home when his is going under construction. Levi keeps to himself after a past history of trouble-making in a close-by small town. So we have two opposites coming together because somehow they understand each other.

But what I love about this book is not centered just around the romance. I'm a big, big fan of Georgie and her relationships. I love her friendship with Bel and how she is with her parents. I love Levi's restraint in making new relationships and his journey to repairing some. I think Kate Clayborn does an amazing job with these characters - making them feel like real people.

And I love the bucket list feel and component. In order to figure herself out, Georgie thinks she needs to fulfill this list she found that she and Bel were supposed to do in High School and just never got to.

Anyways, I'll shut up now, but I highly recommend this book to those who like contemporary romance with some spice. It's dual POV and it's highly enjoyable to read these two fall in love but also love themselves more.
