High Profile by Robert B. Parker

4.0

Parker can write a decent detective story. The characters always have a quirky feel and there is a satisfying arc to the story. In this one, two murders seem to have no leads, and then an offhand remark breaks the ice. A womanizing media icon is murdered with a mistress. Side stories about how the inexplicable love can cause men to do things they wouldn't.
