Good read; I really enjoyed the two leads.
Then I got to thinking--but there's too much stuff in here.
There is a LOT of plot. A LOT of things going on.
Then I thought--but why shouldn't there be? Because the book felt rushed, good moments skimped at times. And there was probably lot more plot that should have been in the book, logically. About a hundred side-stories that needed to be followed but weren't.
Then I thought, this needed to be one of those massive Western epics that form their own bookends.
Then I was upset. In what world was that going to happen?
