The first half of the book was a bit too long-winded for me, and I was rather bored. Things picked up in the second half and more plots and actions started pouring in. The characters were steady, their personalities solid and evolving. Kazi was still as strong and respectable as ever. Overall, I believe the book can cut off a lot of pages to improve the pacing, so I’d rate it lower than the first book.
