Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver

5.0

FIRST LINE REVIEW: "Her body moved with the frankness that comes from solitary habits." Another incredible book from Kingsolver! She has such a gift for being educational and profoundly moving at the same time. To make us care deeply about people and the creatures who share the world with them. As Deanna's body moved through this book -- brashly, openly, confidently -- so too does Kingsolver lead us through the solitary job of "living" in this world and, hopefully, taking something with us when we return to our more cluttered society.
