4.5* for the historical plotline, which features lovable characters and intriguing premise.
3.0* for the "modern"-day (at the time of publication) plotline, which features amusing (mis)adventures and also introduces some interesting real-life concepts and algorithms, but I find it hard it to care about the main character's enterprise, which I can't imagine delivering on its promises or really being useful in any real capacity.
