Funny and poignant

Charlie was a little iffy for me at first, maybe because her background and history were just being hinted at. But once Reece came in to play, and she started peeling those layers, as she said in the book, you got a much better picture into her reasons and behavior. And Reece. So damn cool! I loved that he was this bad ass basketball player, but recognized something in Charlie and was attracted to that. He wasn't an alpha jerk or trying to screw her over; that small bit of belief and support he showed her were enough to help her truly open up and heal how she needed to. Excellent, again, Tijan!!!
