The Psy-Changeling Series Books 1-5 by Nalini Singh

The Psy-Changeling series is one of those series towards which my feelings are extremely mixed. On the one hand, I’m curious to see how the story plays out; on the other hand, I’m not as invested in the series as I am other paranormal romance series. It’s certainly fun for the occasional easy read, and I can understand why they are so popular, but they are not the kind of books I could binge read across the space of a couple of weeks – as I have been known to do with other series.
For me, the books are a mix of three-star and four-star ratings. Book one, Slave to Sensation was a rounded up three-point-five-star rating; book two, Visions of Heat, was a three-star rating; book three, Caressed by Ice, was a four-star rating; book four, Mine to Possess, was a rounded up three-point-five-star rating; book five, Hostage to Pleasure, was a three-star-rating.
The stories certainly leave you wanting more, and I will continue the books to see what happens next – I simply doubt I will ever label this one of my favourite series in the genre.
