Ends abruptly, I assume because Ito didn't know how to end it. The story just kept getting more stupid as it went on.
The best part of the book was one of his short stories included at the end (The Enigma of the Amigara Fault).
Gyo itself is one of the worst books I've ever read so far, but I'll give him some points for creativity I guess.
