The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick
4.0

What I read: The Messy Lives of Book People by Phaedra Patrick

Why I picked it up: Books about books are a delight. And check out the shelves on that cover!

How I read it: On audio over a few days while doing laundry, mowing the lawn, and cooking.

What it’s about: Liv is a cleaner. Essie is one of her clients. The relationship is fairly simple until Essie dies and has an unexpected challenge for Liv to complete. Finish her book.

What I liked: I love a story where the main character finds herself because of who she is and her talents rather than because a man rescues her. This is one of those stories.

What I disliked: While many of Liv’s questions get answered, I think there are a few that could have had more clarity.

Genre: Books about books, art of writing, finding your passion.

Rating & Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and definitely!
