If you told me before I read this book that I would care about Aeneas by the time I was finished, I would have laughed in your face. Somehow, through the lens of a character that Vergil neglected, Le Guin has made me completely re-evaluate my opinion of him. As a classicist, I am normally hyper-critical of books like these, but I have found myself with truly no notes. 100% would read (and cry!) again!
