This book makes me proud to be AFAB. The beautiful retellings of the complex and amazing women has changed my views on any Greek media; plays, poems, books, art and retellings. It has also drastically changed me as a person, these are women I will never see the same way and this has changed everything to me. These are stories I grew up reading, my earliest memory of Greek mythology being a book I picked up in year 4 from my school library. These women are a fundamental part of me and now seeing them in their true light has changed everything I knew about them and how to be a woman.
I am not being dramatic when I say that this is one of the greatest books I have ever read and I have recommended it to every friend I have.
