The Fracturing by Tricia Wentworth

Did not finish book.

I had some reservations with the first book, but it ended with such a cliffhanger twist, I felt like I had to find out what happened. I had quite a wait at the library, but then was able to get a copy early so I started it up ... and stopped.

I gave it a few chapters, but all the things I didn't like in the first book (it just feels so juvenile ... I'm not the intended audience, being an aged 50+ woman) just came rushing back. The relationships and conversations seem very unnatural, and so many things just illogical.

There are other people waiting for the book who seem to enjoy it (based on ratings) so I'll return it so that those who want to read and enjoy can.
