Okay, I'm alright with Zack Berman getting blown up in his plane. I didn't really think he was redeemable.

But, I can't believe that Robin Cook actually did this. That he actually killed off the main character. I don't think she will ever be seen again. I guess she must have become troublesome. She's in the pipeline. No new books, no nothing. Pia didn't deserve this, Robin.

So, once again, Pia finds herself in trouble with her company. She thinks that they are doing something illegal, but doesn't know what. She starts investigating, but keeps getting into trouble. Her boss tries to get her to come around, but she resists. He's boorish.

And then, she is kidnapped. I wanted her to find a way out. I had hoped that maybe the Albanian mob would be able to find her. It's just a book, but the ending just hit hard.
