The starting conditions of the book are intriguing, but it gets lost in the past of the two main characters and how they became who they are today. The sci-fi aspect completely dissolves in the background and simply leaves you unsatisfied, as there is no plot. Not a single thing is happening in this book and it can be summarised by 2 sentences, which ironically one of the characters even does at the end. Perhaps I expected something different or it simply wasn’t my cup of tea.
