I really appreciate the intend of the book, and fully applaud the awesome work in explaining as clearly and simply as possible the many variations of genders, sexes, and sexualities. It's much needed; many people around me are not even aware of the existence of non-binary people and don't understand what it means and implies. However I feel like the author tries to cover too much and overreach sometimes by adding race to the equation. It sometimes reads as a manual of how to not be a discriminatory individual, which is absolutely legit in and by itself, but is not necessarily the original goal of the author. Still, a useful guide to understand and talk more accurately of the complexities of what it means to live in a human body.
