Birnam Wood by Eleanor Catton

The writing style is a bit hard to follow but you get used to it. I’ve never been a fan of this style with no chapters, I think it makes books more confusing and the characters get muddled when you do multiple points of view with no chapter change. However, once the Lemoine character was introduced I definitely got more invested. I really hated the Tony character, really man, stop talking! He comes around a lot as the book progresses but he is frustrating. This book was pretty wild and the end is a lot. I could feel my anxiety ramping up as I got to part III and I finished the book fairly quickly after that. I enjoyed the commentary and the story in general. I'd recommend the book!
