A Knight in Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux

1.0

When my friends and I turn soppy, as all do at one point or another, we discuss and recommend romance novels. I have been badgered for a few years to read this (I shudder to call it a novel) book.

First off, the plot is neither great or wretched it’s simply ‘ehhh.’ That feeling quickly changed to a bubbling rise of utter contempt and loathing for the “heroine.”

I had the misfortune of reading 50 Shades of Gray a few years back; but while I was a tad revolted by the woman’s stupidity - she did not drive me to such a fevered point of loathing as the character Dougless Montgomery has. Seriously, an American woman from Maine with that name... girl please!! Travel a bit.

I got to midway through chapter seven and lost it. I could read no more of this insipid rubbish.

Douglass is all that not just females but humanity in general should despise. She is a worthless, purely stupid, woe-is-me, nincompoop of such revolting proportions that I wonder if the purpose of this errr “novel” was just to inspire loathing.

Ye God’s! What a waste of paper.
