Ecstasy Unveiled by Larissa Ione

5.0

My favorite Demonic family is back in this installment of the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. A new brother and an unexpected new sister come forth and the stakes just get higher and higher.

In Ecstasy Unveiled we meet Lore, a seminus demon who has been forced into working as an assassin to protect his little sister Sin, and Idess, an Earth-bound Angel whose mission is to keep a special human safe, even against the hot demon is tempting her into things she hasn’t been allowed to do all her life.

There are so many things I loved about this book and one of them was the Dichotomy that is Lore. He is such a nice guy at heart, even being a demon, and he is stuck in a situation where he is coerced into acting against his wishes, and all that to protect the only sister he has left, who doesn’t even know the sacrifice he is doing for her.

Lore is such an interesting and complex character, he is much more than just a demon and it is a delight to get to know him in this novel.

On the other side we get Idess, another amazing character, who is so much more than what she appears to be. Even though Idess is an angel whose nature and personality is more to daredevil than heaven-bound.

She is the perfect match for Lore in this awesome novel and even though the obstacles are overwhelming and seemingly impossible to get through, Larissa Ione’s mastery in storytelling delivers us a an action filled plot that doesn’t stop for one second.

Lore and idess’s chemistry sparks off the page and their scenes together are so hot and steamy that I kept fire extinguisher on hand to avoid an accident hehe =)

As usual the side stories are just as compelling with some great things happening with Shade, Kynan and Gem. I don’t want to give you any spoilers, so I just leave it at that.

Ecstasy Unveled is the perfect addition to the Demonica series and Larissa Ione has once again proved her writing genious with this exquisite PNR novel. If you haven’t read the Demonica series yet, I really don’t know what’s wrong with you! I just can’t wait for Sin Undone, book #5, which is coming out this august.
