NIGHT AFTER NIGHT: The Dark Art Behind Throwing Wild Parties by Julian Font

Did not finish book. Stopped at 26%.
Oh my god. Literally nothing happens in the first 70 pages. And it take 40 pages just to explain exactly what happens from the book synopsis.
I get it the little brother decided to play Russian roulette, I didn’t need 40 pages leading up to that moment. I know the kids dead from the back of the book.
The baby brother dies because of drugs and the other brothers are all “let’s create a night club so people can do drugs safely” idk if that was my family I’d be doing everything to convince people not to do drugs.
This book is about family but not once does the MC contact his father or brother, who are in prison, and he doesn’t even know both his parents die. He’s so worried about random strangers than his own family.
Let’s call him… let’s call her…. Let’s stop over describing characters that literally don’t matter except to point out how much of a prick the main character is.
The writing of this book is written like a 14 year old boy is envisioning what it would be like to do drugs and run a night club. Nothing make sense and it’s overly wordy and trying to be all “I’m cool but I’m chill about it but I’m pretending I don’t know that”
