Atoms Never Touch is a sci-fi novella with many themes: there are parallel realities, augmented lenses, and a lot of hacking. However, at its core, this story is about the revolutionary power of love - and not just any love but T4T love at that! Rea and Cora's fierce, passionate romance is the driving force behind the entire plot. Once Luz joins the story and her connection is explained, the thread of love in Atoms Never Touch expands into a sweet & satisfying ending.

Though I enjoyed many aspects of this novella, two things fell flat for me. First was a thinly-veiled 2016 US Election plotline that read like fan fiction. I've realized recently that this is a huge turnoff for me as a reader. The second thing that I didn't love was the plottiness of it all. Generally I prefer books with a bit more characterization and I think this is something that Atoms Never Touch could have definitely benefited from.
