i picked this up because i loved house of salt and sorrows. i didn’t think i’d love this one as much because i’m a sucker for dark seaside tails, but this actually outdid house of salt and sorrows. i loved everything about this book. if i could erase this from my brain to read it again for the first time, i would. my favourite read of this entire year.
