I really enjoyed this book, it was a different take on children of Gods and Goddesses' and I found it entertaining. Thea is told that her mother is actually adopted her, she's a Goddess and she has to go to school to learn about her powers and how to control them, oh and also she can never see or speak to her mother again! She is, understandable, angry and resentful, when she arrives at the Academy she has no idea that things are going to get worse even while she thinks things are looking up.
I didn't see the twist at the end coming but I am so looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
