The Korean War: A History by Bruce Cumings

4.0

Contrary to my initial perception, this book actually offered a balanced look at the Korean War from all sides. Often opinions offered on North Korea, in particular, are very much from an outsider-looking-in perspective, and it was interesting to learn more about how they came to be this isolated state, and why.

I don't really know enough about this topic to judge this book on the validity of its content, but I feel like I know a lot more on this subject now, and my interest has definitely been piqued. But first, I need to read something light!!
