This was a nice read!
The beginning drug on a lot. I think we could have gone without so much of the book being under that mountain. It did make up for it towards the end. Characters are finally developing, especially some really stubborn ones.
Lore is by far my favorite. He’s crazy but in all the good ways. He and Jaro are by far top 2. Others are definitely making their way but still have some things to figure out.
I love the politics and world building in this book. Also really excited to read about the different courts and royals they see on their pilgrimage.
Usually sequels to books are my least favorite but I will say this one did not disappoint. Can’t wait to dive into the next one!
