What the fuuuucccckkk is the suffocation game. Vivi and her sisters reminisce about playing this “game” as children. What the actual fuck.
As for the rest of the book, it skips over things like it’s a novella, even though it’s over 300 pages, and it’s immature. There’s a lot of dialogue to explain and describe situations… it’s a very immature writing style, and one of the best examples I can find is that the author will tell us how a character feels about something, and then the character will say the same thing out loud to someone. And phrases like “my lady bits literally almost exploded.”
