First of all, I was like "what the heck, did Christopher Even Welch die or something?!?" ...he did :(
This new narrator was not great (hint: bogg-art, not bo-gart - couldn't you have listened to at least one of the previous books?), but not quite as jarringly off as the previous one.

As far as the storyline....look, Slither was shit. This book cobbles together a slapdash attempt at an ending to a 13 book series so Delaney can write a sequel about Slither. It absolutely guts key characters from throughout the series and barely explains how the plot comes together. I really don't understand why Delaney couldn't have wrapped up this series in a logical, satisfying manner, then written Slither and its sequels as a spin-off.
I was so looking forward to an ending where Alice and Tom are awaiting the birth of their seventh son...who knows what power he might have had?
