I really enjoyed this but sometimes there were slow parts and really fast parts. There’s third person pov, I would have preferred first person because that would have been a better way to tell this story. In the beginning of the book Chris and Perry meet and Perry offers Chris a position being Perry’s live-in therapist. Chris meets Perry’s wife, Kara and boy she’s a bombshell and Chris really fancies her and she flirts with him too. Kara knows what she wants and she wants to live a lavish lifestyle that’s the only reason she’s with her millionaire husband Perry but she has no love for him. I really like the characters Chris and Kara just their vibe and the way they are together though, Kara is straight up manipulative and very quickly Chris and Kara soon get into an affair. During this affair Kara tries to persuade Chris to do something he never thought just to keep her happy. So many twists and turns. Dramatic and fast paced for sure. The Honey Trap was a very fun and entertaining read but I wasn't expecting what Chris did. That's all i'll say.
