Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire

5.0

Beautiful Disaster & Walking Disaster were two sides of the same story I could most definitely relate to. Their were certain parts in the book, like when Abby or Travis would talk about their feelings towards each other but the other wouldn't know, that spoke to me and my personal life. I’m not going to go into detail but yes we've all felt misunderstood at least in one moment or another by the one we love or care for. In the books both Travis and Abby experience inner conflict with things from their past that have come to affect their future. It speaks to me in a way that I can feel what they may have been feeling in that moment because my personal experience is somewhat close to what they're going through. I believe that these books don’t just speak to just one audience but multiple. It carries heart ache, confusion, doubt, and so much happiness and hope. Its all things essential in our lives; things we as people in society go through and experience. One of the things I mostly liked about them was the way how everything felt real and it was so relatable to the reader. I was able to sympathize with the character and I think that’s a very important quality because it engulfs the reader; the urge to know what happens next is too great to pass out and that makes a great book.
