The first half of this book was pretty good, I’m not really sure it where it lost me or why I stopped being so interested but it just didn’t hit the right spot at the end.
I really felt like Wendy was a terrible character, she was naive and not in a cute way.
James was… slightly better than mediocre to me personality wise.
Past the characters, the storyline was okay and it was an interesting re-imagining of this fairytale. I think I’ll continue with the series and see what else it has to offer.
Tropes:
Enemies-to-Lovers (ish)
