This book took me by surprise and I did not expect to love it as much as I did. This sci-fi romance stole my heart and I could not stop listening to this story unfold. I loved our two main characters, two cinnamon rolls just trying to make it in this world.

The romance side of this book was amazingly cute. While the first half of this romance was miscommunication/assumptions about each other and their feelings, I feel like in this case it made sense (though I was glad when it was over).
The main reason that this book didn't get a full 5 stars was that I found the sci-fi part of this book lacking to my tastes. It was mostly just a back drop for the romance instead of feeling like an actual place with politics and people living in this world outside of the characters involved in the romance and the mystery. The politics surrounding the main characters helped but I wanted more sci-fi than we actually got.
